Sam Frishman is Founder and CEO of MDC. He received a PhD in mechanical engineering from Stanford University in 2021, an MS in 2017, and a BS from Johns Hopkins University in 2015. MDC’s underlying technology was part of Sam’s PhD work. He has published in top journals and received numerous awards including the IEEE Transactions on Medical Robotics and Bionics Best Paper Award in 2022. Sam is also an Adjunct Lecturer at Stanford University in the mechanical engineering department.
